Councillors’ Dinner,
preceded by a reception in the beautiful Town Hall of Bruges

On Wednesday evening, all the LCI councillors and international representatives are invited to meet each other and exchange experiences during a nice dinner in a typical, local restaurant. The members of the LCI board and the LCI conference committee are also present. All together, they spend a wonderful evening with lots of chat and laughter!

Councillors’ Meeting & Lunch

In order to anticipate a smooth and faultless AGM, all councillors come together and discuss the agenda on Thursday already. While doing so, the official meeting that will take place the next day, can be perfectly timed and organised!

Opening Ceremony

All ladies have now arrived, the international conference can be officially opened. This is a very serene and formal moment, in the presence of international, national and local officials. The ceremony will last for about 45 minutes, where speeches will be altered by live musical interludes.

Welcome Parade

This is pure magic ! Ladies from all over the world will parade through the old city centre, wearing their national clothing. Can you imagine : a procession of several hundreds of enthusiastic and warm hearted young women ... just feel the strength and friendship of Ladies’ Circle !

Welcome Party

After the official ceremony and the impressing international parade, there is time to celebrate. Ladies from all different countries, meeting each other again : let’s party !

Annual General Meeting

Proposals, nominations, applications, reports, finances are discussed and the election of the new international board takes place. Although a busy and charged agenda has to be respected, the AGM is a very interesting and appealing meeting. One you have to attend once in a lifetime ...

Home party

How to know a country better than being invited at the local’s place ? Ladies of the hosting country open their houses and will treat you like a princess. This is the perfect occasion to learn about the habits and customs of a new country.

Contact Meeting & Lunch

While the new international board has been elected, the freshly chosen international president requires all the national presidents and vice presidents to get to know the new programme of the incoming year. It is an informal and pleasant way of getting to know your colleague councillors for the new year to come.
In the meantime, all other ladies are invited to visit the hosting country by means of different proposed day or half day sightseeing tours.

Gala Dinner

The end of the conference is near. While the new international board has been elected in the morning, the hand-over of the jewels takes place in the evening. The outgoing president will welcome and congratulate the incoming president and the new LCI board. It is an emotional, thrilling, heart warming moment that will touch all ladies present.
At midnight, after an exquisite dinner, the dance party can start. And we can assure you : you will have the time of your life !

Ladies’ programme = AGM & Home Parties

In the morning you will be invited for a golf initiation in “Domein Puyenbroeck” in Wachtebeke. At noon the Filliers Grain distillery, market leader in Belgium in the jenever segment, will welcome you with their finest jenevers (www.filliers.be). Lunch will be served in the direct neighbourhood of Filliers in Deinze.

In the afternoon you will make a trip by kayak on the “Moervaart” in the beautiful Waasland.

You will conclude this fascinating day with a visit of a genuine Belgian family brewery, Malheur, in Buggenhout, and a dinner.
